The style of espresso has changed dramatically in the past ten years, we're seeing a much lighter and longer style being served instead of the traditional, heavier style espresso. Acme & Co. saw a need in creating a vessel that reflected the modern espresso, something simple and unadorned yet functional.

To achieve the airy feeling this cup has, it is made from magnesium porcelain which is lightweight yet durable. This material is actually translucent when held up against the light.
